So I started a new workout program two weeks ago called Shortcut to Shred. It's a six week program which is pretty awesome because most programs are usually 12 weeks and by week 11 I'm like..." I did great, I did 11 weeks." I really should be telling myself... " finish the last freakin week Stephanie!"
Anyway I am finishing up week two tomorrow and then go into week three, which begins the second week of phase two. So what is Shortcut to Shred? It's a fast-paced six week program that is guaranteed to torch body fat, build muscle, and boost your strength. It's pretty intense considering your working out six days a week, utilizing linear and reverse linear periodization, and doing a minute of cardio acceleration in between sets instead of resting. Not going to lie, I almost threw up in my mouth the first day... gross I know.
The nutrition plan is pretty easy to follow too, it's macro's calculated. Although this is easy to follow it is also the hardest part, at least for me. Do you know how hard it is to meet your macros in a clean way? Often times I will got to a friend's home or a church gathering and they will have some sort of treat out and I'm quick to be like oh yummy lets just put these in my mouth that's what they're there for right and then I remember... oh crap I forgot I was suppose to be following a clean eating plan..oops. This is something I'm working on and have been ever since I turned 30. Never paid much attention to what I ate because I was working out. Yeah, no. That's not the case anymore.
The workout and nutrition plan go hand in hand with a supplement program. I honestly am not even running his supplement program although I am sure my results would be even better if I did as I can see minimal results now and it's only been two weeks. His supplement program is way more than I can handle right now, especially considering I'm barley getting on point with my macros. Maybe when I do this program again in the future I'll tackle that beast.
I can't wait to see the results. I have four more weeks to go. I strongly suggest giving this workout program a try. It will definitely have your fat screaming. The best part is it's absolutely free.
